Update- The Gustav Thiele concert was a great success and we are very grateful for the large amount of funds raised we wish Gustav and his family all the best and hope to have a even bigger event next year. Thank you to all involved for making this such an experience.
We are hoping to arrange the next concert in January to raise R 80 000,00 for Gustavs Ventilator.

Update Maputo- Today we delivered the bath and Toilets for the guest cottage. Thank you Alfons for picking it up. We wish you all the luck with finishing the cottage. We are so looking forward to assist you with the garden project in Maputo.
We are awaiting the arrival of U.Shoenwald and Marita in February we will assist them in any way with their garden project in association with Utha and Alfons.

Rotary Nelspruit - is currently building up momentum and together with Cleveland we hope to make leaps and bounds with the projects. We also very excited to start a new Garden Project in Mpumalanga.

Mhomoli - with a bit of luck and allot of prayers, we should have the Online Store open for the Mhomoli beadwork and handmade products. We sincerely hope that you will support us in buying your Christmas cards or gifts there. All profit will go to the Mhomoli development fund. We thank Annette and Simoa for allowing us to work with them.

Update; 11 November 2009 Mhomoli- Today I will send the email to the Ohio University it will be one of the most wonderful experiences to work with young minds at making positive charges at many rural villages.

Tzembeke Garden Project, than you for your collaboration.

1. Water pump that was bought for the Tzembeka project is very expensive (running cost) and Tzembeka would like to have a new pump costing
   M 60000.00 or ZAR 20 000.00
2. Tzembeka would like to have M 10000.00 to open a account ZAR 3500.00
3. That Tzembeka needs M 3600.00 to register with the Gazette ZAR 360.00

On this matter we can report:

1. Bluezone in Maputo a Danish company is trying to find and compile the most fuel effective pump for the situation in Massingir.
2. That we banked the USA cheques on the 13th of October 2009 after many hardships with the account and banking laws.
3. On the 15th of October 2009 I was asked to return to Brooklyn Pretoria and the bank informed me that they cannot bank the cheques.
   North American Banking law would allow the USA to send back any of the cheques for a period of two years. This would be that for a period of two years the bank would carry the risk for the cheques.

So we will send each cheque back to each of the sponsors in the USA and they will then make out their cheques to a central account in the USA and then the central account will send the total amount with bank transfer to the DSAP account. We thank all the friends who are working to make this happen.

Update 11 November 2009 Massingir- The cheques are all in the USA and we are waiting in suspense for the sponsors to re-issue the cheques to the American account.

Here is the message from ABSA concerning the cheques after we sent them to the USA-"Good day
The deposit for the foreign cheques were referred to the regional manager for small business for approval, but was declined

The account in which the foreign cheques were to be paid in is a new account, with no big turnover.  In accordance with the U.S. law applicable to negotiable instruments, these cheques may be returned unpaid by the Drawee Bank for a period of up to seven years. When processing foreign cheques, the funds are available immediately and should the cheques be returned to us unpaid we need to recover the funds from the account in which it was paid in. ABSA Forex"

Update, We have returned cheques to the value of roughly R 20 000,00 and have received roughly
Euro +/- 13 000,00 for us from the USA for the Cleveland fundraising and will be utilized to buy the second Diesel Pump and open their account for Tzembeka.
